The site is allocated as a Town Centre Key Opportunity Site for residential and/or town centre uses in Policies TC3 (Town Centre Key Opportunity Sites) and H2 (Key Housing Sites) of the Crawley Borough Local Plan 2023-2040. The Local Plan Housing and Employmen Land Trajectories envisage the development of 135 dwellings and 5200 square metres of office floorspace on the site. The maximum figure of 150 is based on early feasibility studies.The minimum figure of 50 is based on the figure given in the 2015 Local Plan Housing Trajectory.
