Site of a former haulage yard that is part occupied by an existing storage shed, but the site is now largely unused. The existing building will require clearance before a scheme could be progressed. The highly rural setting is recognised the site may offer opportunity for a small infill development, at an appropriate scale for the village. The landowner is considering the options for redevelopment and is understood to be looking to progress a residential development in the short-term. However, the most recent information provided suggests the intention is to pursue a smaller development. An application for 3 homes is now pending consideration (23/03251/FUL). As a result of the lower yield it is now classified as a small site in the SHLAA.
