The site is located adjacent to Crockenhill urban confines and benefits from two points of access onto Cray Road. The western access could be utilised if improved. Concerns are raised over any impact a redevelopment would have on the setting of the listed buildings. Overall the eastern half of the site is considered able to accommodate development however it is located within the Green Belt so this designation would need to change in order for it to be developed.
