Former day-care centre which provided specialist support for local residents with additional needs. The site was made available for redevelopment following closure of the facility. Offers opportunity for redevelopment of land within Haltwhistle once cleared. An application for demolition and redevelopment of the site by construction of 22 homes was permitted in 2015 (14/01507/FUL). The former centre did not provide an residential units, so there is no resulting loss to stock resulting from the demolition. Works started in 2015 with clearance.
