This site is an Allocation in the adopted Worthing Local Plan. A13 indicates a site capacity of a minimum of 150 residential dwellings and 700sqms of commercial floorspace. The site was acquired by the Council in 2018 to bring the site forward. An application AWDM/1618/23 was submitted for 216 residential units and commercial uses at ground floor level. and approved subject to the signing of a legal agreement as at 01/04/2024 and the site was assessed as a Potential Site in the SHLAA. Since then the application has been approved 12 August 2024 ..
